Only two lessons and incredibly helpful: AP Calculus

My son met up with David 5 weeks into his AP Calculus class. He knew about some things but pretty fuzzy and uncertain about a lot of concepts. The first lesson David reviewed and clarified these concepts and was able to even teach him the concept that his teacher talked about in class the next day. My son told me that he finally understood what his teacher was talking about in class. After the second meet up with David, son tells me that David told him what the real world applications were for learning this sine and cosine stuff. That kind of blew his mind. Here is some background: my kid has worked with a few tutors over the years and everytime I ask him how did the session go, the reply I get is "it was fine." This time he excitedly tells me he is starting to understand why this is important to learn and I get a pretty detailed retelling of what they went over. Thank you David!

With his ADHD, keeping focused is often a challenge. What David was able to do is keep our son engaged the whole session. He was prepared and able to go over any of the questions on the practice test. He was also patient which is also important.

Knowledgable and Very Understanding

I requested a session with David very last second for some Multivariable Calculus (Calc 3) work. he was able to squeeze me in same-day and go over all the work I requested despite a tight time frame. David adjusted our lesson to be quick in pace while still explaining the process of every problem so that I could grasp it when I re-watch the video. Don't hesitate to reach out to David with any math concerns- after my first session I left feeling more confident in myself for my exam and feel like I am in good hands for any difficult concepts I have in the future.
