Incredibly Patience, Knowledgeable and Kind

Ted was amazing at tutoring! I learned an incredible amount in our 2 hour session and he was able to help me work through my homework and learn exactly each step along the way as to what I was doing. What was really helpful was that he was able to help me learn how to relate it to current knowledge I had and also help me think through each step of the problem. I am delighted for additional sessions and would highly recommend Ted as a tutor to anyone. I'm a non-traditional student learning programming later in my career, and feel Ted was really helpful in creating a safe space in doing so. Thanks!

Ted has been helping me with a python course for about six weeks now and he is the man. Ted is very good at not only helping you with your assignments but also explaining the code in immaculate detail. I have had a lot of computer science tutors that are masterful programmers but have no idea how to break down the innerworkings of a script to someone who is new to a language, but Ted does an amazing job of making sure you completely understand what you are doing. I could not recommend him more.

Knowledgeable, patient, and really get to the point

I have been stuck on a non-trivial Python assignment for 3 or 4 days, and the tutor session with Ted really saved me from that struggle. Ted was patient reading through the requests, going over what I have done in my code, and sharply found where my bug is and solved it. Moreover, Ted is very knowledgeable. He will explain to you the concepts and principles covering the data structure, operations on data types, coding convention, debugging tools, etc. I did learn much more than the assignment itself. Again, thank you Ted for the perfect job. I will definitely come back to your tutor class again when needed.

Very knowledgeable!

I needed to understand the bigger picture for my assignment and had a few detailed questions on the GUI we made in Python using Tkinter and the mySQL connector with queries. This was my first lesson with him and he took the time to understand my background, experience, and expertise level before we began so he knew how to address my questions efficiently. I was able to gain a better understanding of the bigger picture, now have a few topics to further research to further my understanding, and he helped fix a few things in my code that could have been potential negatives in the real world. Very knowledgeable and patient tutor. Highly recommended!
