Help with Java

Gavin helped me work through a problem with my Java programming homework. Even through technical difficulties with Wyzant, he was able to help me work through where I was going wrong without just telling me the answer. He spent extra time helping me because of the problems we were having with Wyzant, which I really appreciated. I came away with a much better understanding of Java and higher confidence in my ability to do future programming on my own. But I if I need help with an assignments in the future, I will definitely contact Gavin again.

Chemistry and Pre-calc dual teaching

Gavin worked with my son on orbitals for chemistry and on vectors for calculus. I could actually hear the change when my son understood how to calculate vectors and the changes. It was great. I would and probably will use Gavin again.

I highly recommend using Gavin as a tutor for a variety of classes. He has helped me with my Management of Operations MBA class that involves solving complex problems in Excel using formulas and the Solver function. He also is proficient in mathematics and would be a great tutor in that subject as well. He is punctual, friendly, smart, can pick up the subject material quickly, and most importantly of all, is good at teaching the matter back to you. I was struggling greatly in my class and after two sessions with Gavin I already feel that I have grasped the material and think I will do very well in the class. I will continue to use Gavin going forward and would highly recommend him.
