Our son is in 9th grade but does not like to read. We signed him up with Mr. Tim C to help his reading skills. So far my son had 5 lessons and he enjoyed it very much. He said the lessons are very helpful, and said Mr. Tim C is very knowledgeable, patient, guiding him step by step in how to improve his English skills for the future. We will continue working with Mr. Tim. Update: We were very happy that we had Mr. Tim to help our son working on reading, comprehension and writing. After 6 months or so of tutoring, we've already seen great improvement on his ELA grades and he is more confident in school work on other subjects too. Mr. Tim is very experienced in teaching, much knowledgeable in helping kids at different levels, and super patient with the students. Our son has enjoyed the sessions very much. My son, a teenager, worked with Tim on two drafts of the essays on different not simple topics. Tim was available every other day (as the deadlines on the essays were very soon), for as long as my son needed him. He was very patient, with good sense of humor to ease the tough work, has good techniques to make my son pull more insides/information/facts on different aspects of the essay; helped a lot with word choice, run on sentences and even grammar. I think we will continue with Tim when essays are done and submitted , just to work on my son's writing skills in general. Thank you Tim for helping us break through!

My daughter is a person who does not like reading at all. She almost never reads on her own, and almost never reads any books other than her school textbooks. We were super worried about her SAT. Luckily we found Tim on Wyzant. We just let her to follow with Tim weekly once, we did not really expect much... My daughter had her first SAT shot two weeks ago. This morning we got her score. Unbelievable! she got 1450, especially got 680 for English part! What an amazing result! I do not think we could make it without his tutoring. Thank you Tim!!
