Jeffrey has helped my daughter so much during her college application. He is very knowledgeable about different colleges and know how to work on the writings with a plan and schedule. And I can tell that he also spent time to review and think about writing before the lessons. This is quite different from other tutors who only start to prepare and think about our needs only during lesson time. That has released so much pressure from my kid's regular school work. Wonderful tutor
Jeffrey worked with me on my personal statement for my college applications and I do not regret choosing him to assist me in the process! It is really difficult for me to provide a fair enough review for Dr. Jeffrey Neil (Jeff), simply because of his personal extremely high achievements and superior ability to deliver instructions. I feel privileged to have Jeff’s time for my 11th grader son, who is taking an English Honors class, as well as preparing for SAT. Like many other students, my son wishes to improve his writing and essay, and get prepared to score higher in SAT. He only had couple of sessions with Jeff, and I could clearly see how he is getting deep into the subject, of course with Jeff’s guidance. During the first session, Jeff tested my son to find out his current level of proficiency and started instructing him from there on. Jeff is a Master in the subject he teaches, for my son it is Writing. Jeff, being alumna of three of the top Universities in the world, and being a professor at the UC system for over 16 years, he knows very well how to increase one’s chance to get accepted at one of these world-class universities. I am looking forward to his guidance for my son. There are many great teachers out there, but Jeff is hands down one of the best you will ever find.
